im in 100,000 dollar trny doing well aproaching the money mark i go all in with my pocket ks and get called by a 5/7 off suit and lost my stack and my sanity temporaily who the heck would risk it all on that bs i guess when they win that way it encourages more horrible game play from them in the future and more bad beats for the rest of us!

Sounds almost as bad my preflop raise 5x the BB while holding JJ, and got called by 2 4 offsuit, who hit a straight lol.

If your stack was low enough and the 5/7 had a dominating stack, he probably saw this as a chance to knock you out. While I hate these plays just as much as the rest of them, depending on the situation it could be a pretty marginal play.

And thinking that they will only encourage bad beats for the rest of us is a bad way of thinking. Its these dumb suckouts that make good players cash out in the end because these guys are just going to lose all their money in the end off some dumb plays.

unreal 57! im always weary of pocket kings-i think they are cursed. seems that way everytime i play them and im suprised when they hold up!

I get my share of cowboys shot down, but its the sisters that kill me everytime, I even lost $56 in a ring game with Four Qs once
