Unhappy no defense against idiots with money

I have been beat down repeatadly by people with too much money (apparently) and not enough good sense. People who call with nearly anything. 8 3 off suit, or 10 4 off suit etc. They'll catch something like middle pair 4's with a ten kicker and just won't put it down no matter how aggressive I am with my pocket Q's. And the real bite in the ass is that they seem to win more than they lose, against me anyway. It's inexplicable!!! Am I the only one who has had this type of experiance? Over and over and over and over? And does anyone have any tips on what to do about theses idiots?

If your table is that bad, go all in with a good hand. If your table is like that moderately, just play super aggressive with good hands.

a BAD PLAYER WITH MONEY CAN BE THE MOST DANGEROUS TO GO UP AGAINST, BUT NO OTHER PLAYER WILL PAY YOU OFF MORE. JUST PLAY VERY TIGHT AND VERY VERY AGRESSIVE, YOU'LL FIND OUT YOU WILL COME OUT AHEAD

Play the player not the hand....and be positive about it. You will come out ahead. I have noticed that when I am playing my cards and not paying attention to the players at the table, I usually get broadside by an idiot catching something. A couple of times I have caught myself thinking this idiot is gonna catch a card....and he does. It may be BS, but positive thinking about who (you) is the best at the table makes you a much better player. Repect 'em, but don't think they are going to catch something. If you're thinking like that, best to take a couple days off and come back when your confident in your play again.

I played a tournament series and there were 3 in the series we all called the "donkette triplets". They played any two cards and were hitting better than 80%. The final and the donkettes monied.

Throw the odds calculator out the window.. it only works with people who know how to play poker. When you are sitting at a table with one of the any two cards can win mentality is one thing... but sit at a table with 3

Usually there's an advantage to a player willing to call in any raise, in a recent tourney I noticed a player with a big stack was always calling bets to the river, if she had something I would get check-raised, if not she'd fold. I took that to my advantage and bluffed her on every pot.

i like that idea john but when i m playing and i m in a showdown the only thoughts i have of are the outs that will guarantee my win tho i already have the hand ... or, more likely in my mind, the outs that they could catch to send me packing. I ll try to keep positive, maybe that will ehlp my game a little bit. Ever since playing online my game has faltered in live play because I have such a problem with assuming the worst hands are going to beat my good hands.

This familiar scenario is described by some poker pundits as the schooling phenomenon. That is, a table full of idiots who bet any two, call with nothing, and have no fold buttons is quite analogous to a school of fish. Catching one such fish is a relatively simple matter. Catching the entire school in a single hand, however, is difficult to impossible because you are playing against the collective outs of all fish in the school. Even though you may very well hold a preflop monster, the odds of it holding up against the composite outs available to several fish in a school is quite miniscule.

Taking control of such a situation is a bit like herding cats. Your only chance is classic divide-and-conquer strategy. If you can manage to disperse the herd, er... school, then you stand a much better chance of hooking one or two fish at a time. But min and standard raises usually don't register with tiny fish brains. Much like the classic 2X4 between the eyes attention-getter, a 10X to 20X raise is often required before a donkeyfish will take notice.
