I didn't play this hand very well, but however you look at it, it's a bad beat. Also, I don't think I had the correct odds to call but I was shortstacked and using implied odds.

ouch that's rough... after his raise you probably were suspicious of trips but assumed you'd catch the heart for a flush.. having him hit the full house is nearly impossible to predict with that kind of hand

Yeah I see what your saying but take a look again. He was on a 2 outer. Only a 9 would save him. In the calculator it said I would win 95% of the time and he would win 5% of the time. Basically what I am saying is, after seeing his cards, I was sure I was back into the game. I didn't have to hit a flush or anything, I just needed to avoid one of the two nines in the deck.
Nice hand shad. I dont see how he can call u there but it happens sometimes. I think u played it pretty well, but i would have lay it down on the flop most of the times.

Normally I would too but I knew if I hit my hand I would have gotten paid off (implied odds). I put him on an overpair, and figured I was behind when I went all in, I was trying to steal the pot.
Was that real pain ? I mean some suckouts at the end of the tournaments are just so painful.
A week ago i was heads up on a sitngo and the difference between 1st and 2nd was about 3$, i had a massive chip lead over him, he sucked out on me twice and i was almost dead, that one really hurts.

I was playing a $2+.25 SnG the other day and I had 10,500 to 2,500 chip lead and he kept goin all in. I would call with AK or QQ, or AQ cause they are great hands for heads up and he would win everytime. I was so mad.......
