Dont have to be a royal, straight flush will do it

I personally have caught 4 straight flushes on full tilt. Boy is that a great feeling when you have 3 callers that go all in

That sucks losing with quad aces, I was sitting at a table at the local dog track that recently became a no-limit establishment. There was a pre-flop raise, that was re-raised by another player. The table folded around and the original raiser just called. The flop came jack, queen, jack. The original raiser checked the flop, and the other person put in a fairly large bet. The guy then proceeded to go over the top all in and was called immediately. The first person flips over pocker jacks, flopping four jacks, the other player flipped over pocket queens, he flopped a boat, queens full of jacks. Turn is a blank and the river is a queen! The man flopped four jacks and lost to four queens on the river, the pot was over a thousand dollars. One of the most insane hands I've ever witnessed.

No problem Bob, im guilty of no clearly reading posts at times also. Keeping with the quad Ace theme, I was in a ring game 6 months or so ago ( yes, its burned in my DNA now) When I was dealt QQ, I put in a raise of 4X BB trying to establish where I was , only one flat called.

Flop comes QQA , Now how to milk the most out of this, I check other player moves all in, I call , I now have $56 of mine in the pot, he turns over Aces, which I expected, then the turn card comes.......A

I was fried for days over that hand, finally shook it off and moved on

that sucks jacksrwild, I would be crushed too, beats like that are hard to take, but they are a little easier than the ones where you get called by a horrible hand and they catch runner runner or something, at least the guy had a real hand ya know?

Agreed! I would had done the same thing . He had a monster full house. I felt no anger towards the player , Its just one of those hands , I lived to play another day

personally i've never lost with quads, but getting off tilt from that would take an incredible suckout. im talkin 1 outer.
