a friend of mine hit trip aces on the flop and his uncle hit trip 10s. the turn was a ten, that explains it all

I wouldn't say that was a bad beat - it was just bad luck

they both had really strong hands - just unlucky having both hit their sets it would be inevitable they would both go big on the hand

just unlucky the 4th 10 came - but I've seen it happen online & live

I agree with ScrawnyBob, both played the hand right, one just got lucky. I guess its a bad beat in a sense, but really you can't fault either player, and in my opinion you can't have a bad beat if the players played the hand well, you have to get called by a donkey move and get sucked out on in order to have a bad beat, but that's just my opinion
