Bad beats hmmmmmmmmmm
Really don't delieve in bad beats if your watching the players and your playing your cards right then your going to be ok most of the time.
It's poker you lost the hand maybe the game get over it.
Your never going to win them all if you do please send me your name I want to put money on you.
Getting upset is one of the bigest mistake I see out thier. And talking for two months about getting beat with pocket rockets against 2 3 is a lost cause.
Talk about it all you want game over.

I see your point. But I think getting it off your chest is a way that some people deal with the frustration and then they move on. Some times people that keep it all bottled up it can put you on tilt.

badbeats
hi
i think it also helps some players to see what they think are bad beats - aren't
I beat myself up over very rare badbeats - for them to get to me - they have to have been
a) statistically truely bad beats
b) bad beats in the overall scheme of play
It's no good looking at a guy down to his last chips who got lucky - the guy had to make a stand sometime
same goes for the big stacks
and in cash games - well hell - you just dont know what their pain threshold is
the only had I think that has eaten me up was the guy going all-in for $43 under the gun (stood to pick up 30 cents in blinds) when I had AA on the button
he had 33 and hit trips
why did this get to me - because the play was totally out of character and totally at odds with the logic of the game / rules / stats and made no sense (other than he was telepathic) for an obviously profitable player to make such a senseless play with that hand
What I'm saying and agreeing with ray is - you must put context around badbeats - and then half of them arent - in fact most of them arent
