i got beat with queens to ace jack, no ace or jack came up...but he got a runner runner straight on the river so mad!

Runner runner is bad any way you look at it. I just got bounced from a tournament after I made top set on flop and bet all in. This guy calls and gets running flush cards to knock me out. Then he has the nerve to call me a fish.

Yep, it must take real "pro poker" skill to catch runner runner and win. I'm just a fool for getting my money in with the best hand.

I get this - they moan like hell and call out fish - most of the time you can see they don't play creatively or tight aggressive - they just play plain inconsistently and then moan

you did the right thing getting you money when you had the best of it

Some hands are a tight match up - so its not like they're always complete jack a**es but then they become ones when they try to tilt you with the bad mouthing

Just dont let it bug you - last thing you want is them winning because it gets to you

Yeah it is always fun when the fish get lucky then ride you or someone else about it. I've come to understand, that even most decent players really have no idea about the math involved with poker. So they don't understand what really happens.

It was near the end of a tourny with about 15 people left. Money at 10.
I got pocket Gretzky (For those non-Canadians pocket 9's).
Made a steep pre-flop riase about 4x the bb.
One caller, who just called.
Flop comes

9, J, 9

Before I even realize I just hit quads, my opponent goes all in.
I obviously call and he throws down pocket queens.
I felt bad for him until I saw the turn

that sucks man. what sucks even more is if you were all in after hitting a queen on the flop that just SUCKS. i was watching celebrity poker and some dude had trip sixes on the flop and went all in on the flop called by someone else who thought he was bluffing. he ended up runner runner'ing a straight. it was terrible. that guy had like 4 percent change to win and he hit it
