i really do not see the point in having an odds calculator, you can master the odds concept in your head if you play enough. if you play many hands a day you will come to find that the odds comes more naturally to you and will learn to master the mathematical side ofpoker

when you play freerolls, your'e right, that if you play enough hands a day, it will probably be enough.
pokerplayers include mathmasters who have a natural instinct for math such as those who play the "rubiks cube" for example. these players understand their odds better than other half-time pro's that don't have that natural skill.
you have to remember though that even your math teacher at school used to make her mistakes, and in poker those mistakes can cost you a fortune when you misscalculate your cards, and as imoprtant - your opponent's..........
The fact is, that using pokerbility/tracker increases your understanding by 10 percent.
ALL poker highstakes tournament players use something for their help.
my advise to all the players who want to get setious about their game, is to get one of these softwares. remember- in an ONLINE game, anyone, can go with anything.

i think the calculater will work, maybe afterwards but not when you play, you cant see the opponents cards...lol

i believe that it depends on the type of game,

use it for ring games to save money, but for freerolls u only have one chip stack

The only claculator you should use is the one in your head. Count your outs and what will it cost me to make X amount. Poker is math, strategy and luck.

Especially when the various site's random card generators need some help. Particulary FTP I mean. Of course this is just my opinion but when you get donked out by a donkey...well you know somethings wrong lolol.

I think this is a good idea for beginners. I do not agree with all the software out there that will play for you and allow you to cheat, but hey some people have to win any way they can, more power to them I guess. But I do think that the odds calculator is a good tool for beginners or intermediate players that haven't learned how to calculate odds.
