I am a tight player, and poker odds help me to loose a little my game^^

For an exemple with AK on a flop Q64, if I read my opponent with a queen i think i should fold.. In fact against Q9 for exemple I have 53% odds to win.. Before I folded this hand if the opponent push all-in on CG.. A mistake that I've discovered with the odds calculator

The calculator doesn't make you play more tight or more loose, just better. YOu can't be a good player without, but it's not the own condition for winning.

Yes, in this hand you are almost close to 50% even against AQ or KQ. Only against a set (1/4) or two pairs (1/3) you are in bad position.

pokerbility ok for new begginers learning how to play, but can be a hinderence if you play premium hands preflop and aggresive after flop. dont get me wrong its good but if u have been playing for a while u should not use unless its just to calc your outs......joker131

Yeah if your oppenent doesn't know or care about odds you usually introuble dumb luck seems to prevail over odds alot

Does anyone have time to use anything but their brain when calculating odds? Online u will run out of time and playing live .... well, I would laugh if someone pulled out a card or calculator. Sorry

although the odds are good to know i go off my gut feeling and risk reward factor of making the call

When you have q's thru' a's pocket pairs preflop and the flop has two of the same suit on it. Is it wise to go against someone chasing the flush? If they push all in and are fishing for the flush, is it in my favor to call with very high pockets? I lost today because of it but it seems like everytime I go all in chasing a flush i dont get it. Maybe I should just stop going all in all the time. haha

I think this had actually hindered me. I need something because I am too aggressive of a player and always seem to lose any decent bankroll that i have. Is there anyway to help with this?
