on full tilt earlier today i hit quad J'S twice on may way to winning another tourney

on the turn: 8s, so I checked, 2 others checked. river: 9s -> I raised, 1 folded, other went all-in, so I called. He showed 10sJs...

always happens on full tilt....i hit my set and the guy calls with lower set and picks up quads...

No way to know for sure if your opponent has quads until the cards are dealt. With a boat tough, it's hard to give up that hand unless you feel you're beat. Easier laydown in omaha than in hold em.

try piecing the hand together. if you put them on a hand and two more of thoser cards come out fold no mattewr what you have.
