I have hit 3 Royal Flushes in my tenure as a player, 1 live, 2 online. The funny thing is, I have played them so agressive, no one got a chance to see them. Bummer....
But, straight flushes alone are very exciting to watch. And I have had my fair share of those too, maybe too many to count. Not too long ago this bully at a table kept telling me that he was coming after me, simply because he had seen me play and he felt I was going to give him some trouble if he didn't knock me out early. At some point in the game I was dealt 910 of Clubs. I raised and he was one of the ones that called me. I had a slight advantage chip-wise but we were pretty much even. On the flop, 6 7 8 of Clubs. Wanting to just try to get as many chips out of this hand I made a serious effort to slow play it. Needless to say, Mr. Big Balls, goes in with a huge bet throwing everyone else out, but me. I called. He looks at me and smiles he has secrets no one else knows. Fourth Street puts out the Ace of Spades. He goes all in. I looked at him for a long time not wanting to smile, and he said, don't do it. At this point I could not contain my smile as I called. He stood up throwing the table around and laughing throwing in the AK of Clubs and saying beat that!! After I turned my cards around I think the whole world fell on his head. He was real quiet. Dramatically enough, the river was the King of Spades. That guy has never, ever spoken to me again. He has not mastered the "Win with some Humility" concept...
