i had AA
my opponent had 23
blind was 100/200
i was SB and he was outside limping in
so i RAISE 700 he calls
flop was; JQQ
i raise 700 he calls
turn goes;3
so i went all in .....

It could be considered a bad beat...but there was a few hands that he could be going all in with that would have had u beat, it just turns out he didnt have one, but hit it on the river....still a bad beat tho

Tough beat. Next time, raise a little more than the size of the pot preflop. That's the nature of freerolls, people are going to play any two regardless of your cards. Better fortune next time man.

Ya I agree with Willie if you let the guy see the flop with 2 3 then you didn't bet enough to scare him away thats why many people believe that you should bet heavily preflop so you don't get any donks like you have here that could call you with their 2-3

I think the more donks at the table the more you bet pre flop with AA. I the donk wants to call with 2 3 off let him. You will win most of the time. Perhaps a larger pre-flop but once the guy saw 2's he was in for long haul. That is how people play in free rolls. Knowing that I probably would of shut it down after that. Unless I respected his play then I would keep betting and price him out of pot. But if he does not know to fold pre-flop with 23 of to that kind of raise then he is not gonna know to fold it after.

I've had my Aces cracked before by some ridiculas hand and it hurts. But you raised pre-flop and played well. Nothing else you can do. On the bright side there is a donkey out there that thinks chasing down a 3 high flush is a profittable play! I hope I am the lucky one who gets to show him he is wrong. Or maybe you will be!

unfortunately your always going to have the donks to call you with everything I lose with AA on a daily basis but I also win big pots with them so u have to take the good with the bad..

I had AA last night in the quick draw freeroll on Doyles. The blinds increase every 3 min so you have to super aggressive. I am BB with AA and a nice chip stack and the small blind goes all in. I call of course and he has A 10 of spades. He got the flush. Oh well, I was short stacked after that and was soon gone. Not really a bad beat though because I would of pushed with A 10 and 1 person to beat too. Just nature of the game.
