Ya thats a bad beat, but if u went all in on the turn, then thats your choice, i would have played it a lil safer tho

I mean the guy had full house KKs and AAs would you play that hand safe... i don't think so because you wouldn't expect to get beat

Default Ouch

That was really bad. You got a really good hand, but never give up, its Poker, its how it is.
Just a question, was it all in? I'm not a All In fan, i think playing poker is being patience and know how to wait for the right hand to act.

Cheers!

A tough beat, by not a bad one. He was the favorite preflop and you played too aggressivelty postflop, causing a big hit to your bankroll. You shoulda known that your opponent would call a flop bet with an ace or king. Once the 2nd ace hit, it's a spot where you gotta considering laying down the hand or slowing down the action. You lost site of your opponents holdings and paid dearly for it. Poker is about your opponents hand as well.

Default bad beats

I dished out a similar bad beat the other day on a freeroll

I was heads up with pocket 10's...went all in, about 80,000 chips in play on my end. He followed me.

He had pocket Kings

He made a 3rd king on the flop and I figured it was game over

The turn comes and its a 10, great I'm thinking, i'm only losing to a full house instead of trips now.

The river comes...and its a 10...making mine quads.

This single hand maintained my status so I got entered into the Week 2 tourny on Saturday at PokerStars. Had placed 50th of 12,000 overall.

Default OK...i giveth...i taketh,lol

Ok, so I was playing a freeroll offered by a different site and I was in the final 25 "in the money players".

My ranking at the time was 13

I'm dealt A/K offsuit

I bet big pre-flop to scare close it up a bit

On the flop....7/7/4...no flush draw

I go all in...my opponent follows

He's got pocket 2's...ugh

On the turn...I get a king

On the river...a 2 comes, giving him a full house

I drop from 13 to 24...and make 25 cents...versus 40 cents or so...

But...if i had won, i would have been in the top 10 where the minimum win was at least a dollar and possibly up to 25 dollars.

I don't see anything wrong with the play...any draw against a pocket pair heads up is about 45/55...just sucks he made trips

thats poker folks,lol
