i am never sorry when i put a bad beat on someone. they happen to all of us enough that you have to chalk it up as poker.
last one i remember was last night - i get dealth Kh Qh in the BB. Someone limped in, next guy made a smallish raise (about 3xBB). I called, limper called.
Flop came Q T 8.
I check raised allin and got called by K J and Q A. I hit the K on the river to stay alive.
It happens.

Bet the big pairs hard or go home!
I never fart around with the big pairs. You have to play them big pre flop or your going to get burned. I don't even know how many times 9 10 suit have broken my aces. just bet them big pre flop and hope there calling a smaller pair or a A K

I wouldn't even consider that a bad beat, really. I think it's just bad play on the KK player-- he/she didn't bet enough to get you off the hand (I think- you didn't say how much they bet on the turn) and you made your draw.. Your opponent "let" you make your draw- there was a possible strt & flush draw on the flop and they only bet half the pot.

Nice man. It always feels good whenever you catch a break every once in a while, especially after all the bad beats you experience over your poker lifetime, lol. But I always end up with a somewhat guilty feeling, and think to myself of how lucky I just was.

You certainly had plenty of outs to call on the turn. Glad it worked out for you.

Even though you outdrew the kings, it wasn't bad playing on your part. Your opponent tried to slowplay his hand and trap you in the end. Thid hand is a good example of why one should play monster hands agressively. When betting, fire roughly 3/4 to the size of the pot to force your opponents to make decisions.
When at the tables, play for the love of the game and show respect for your opponents.

HAHA this cracks me up. I love that people are claiming their bad beats as well as taking the bad beats. Very original. I gotta say i put a pp of 3's up against a pp of A's and my 3's took care of business.
