Much More Of These And I Will Lose My Love Of Poker!!

Just finished playing a game and this one guy managed to inflict 3bad beats on me.

1 - He goes all-in for like 1000, its bout 5% of my stack so I call with QQ, he flips over K2 off suited, flop comes down 8,8,8, so i have a full house so I'm thinkin good, as long as a king doesnt come i'll be fine. A king didnt come, but the turn came the fourth 8. Giving him quad 8's with K kicker.

I mange to over it and get the chips back, but

2. He goes all-in and I call with KK, thinking it can't happen again. He has Q2 the flop comes with a 2 so i'm winnning until the freaking qiver comes a Q.

After this i walked away from the computer, made a cup of tea and tried to calm myself down. I get bk to the table and get garbage for like 20-30mins when I get dealt the rockets in BB. I'm loving it, I think yes my luck is about to change. someone goes all-in for their short stack and this other guys raises all-in so I call. The short stack had 66, but the bad beat guy shows 10(spades) and 3hearts and i show my AA feeling rightly confident. Flop brings no ace or 6 but does bring 2spades. The turn comes Aspades and guess what the river was.....................thats right you guessed it another freaking spade. giving this f*cking guy the flush and a tonne of chips.

I went on to finish in the 1st cash place, but i've just looked at the tournie places and he finshed 9th, winning nearly 3x the amount I did.

If this would have been a live tournie i think i would have flipped my lid and punched him or something.

I've decided that i'm giving up poker for at least 3days or so, coz i know my play is going to be affected by this.

that is worse than bad - really I feel for you

definately worth taking a break for a day or two & dont let it eat away at you while you have a couple of days off - go and do something else - or post loads of interesting stuff on 4kingpoker ;-)

when I say dont play poker - that is of course apart from any 4kingpoker tournies you were planning on entering ;-)

unreal stuff m8 it really does make you feel like finding out where this clown lives eh ....ah was in a tourney last night 500 entrants was down to the last 30 and sitting about 15th in chips got AA on sb about 5 flat callers to me and with the blinds being so high i thought al go all in and pick up the blinds plus ante and if someone calls well thats a bonus.... 1 caller with about the same stack as me our cards are shown and he has 4 6 clubs !!!! i am like yeeeees flop comes 3 clubs ffs!!!!! absolutely gutted 3 hours of play then some w***ker does that wat can you do ...he went on to win it with my chips grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr still thinking whether to play today or have a few days off
