Default Do You Ever Say Sorry!!

If you've read my other recent post in this section you will know i'm a recent victim of beating so bad it made me think of my childhood when my dad used to beat me. lol. But it got me thinking if (or when) you inflict a bad beat on someone, either by a bluff that gets called but wins or whatever, do you ever feel guilty or say sorry or anything.

I know poker is a one man war against the rest of the players but I know I feel a little bit bad when I do it, never bad enough to dump the chips back to him/her lol

    Default saying sorry

If i ever go all in and see Im dominated but somehow pull out the runner runner to win I always say sorry. In reality Im usually jumping up and down cheering at home, but I do feel bad especially when I didnt deserve the victory.
Like yesterday for example I entered 5 tournies. 4 of them I got busted out by people hitting runner runner. One of the most frustrating days ever. I wound up on the bubble twice because I went all in with the best hand and wacted someone run straight or a flush.
But I did get my revenge at the end of the night.
with 12 people left and the top 10 paying I was about average chip stack when i got dealth 9/5 suited as the button. it was raised then re-raised and as i went to click on fold the button changed and put me all in. I figured it was a perfect way to end a frustrating day. 2 callers and the flop came a rainbow q/9/3. At least i hit a pair i was thinking then both other players go all in and show their cards. both had pocket pairs one of queens and the other nines. they both hit their sets. then i went runner runner to hit a flush and take 98% of both their chip stack.
for the next 10 min they railed on me for my dumbass move and couldnt belive that i had gotten as far as i did in the tourny making dumb calls like that.
they never did accept my apology......

no apologies in poker. period. they have the same odds behind that you do when you are behind. it is my opinion that when i get lucky for a change i am entitled to it. Not that i deserved to win the pot, but I do not feel the need to apologize for luck. Would you apologize to a casino if you won the jackpot there? If you win the lotto, do you apologize to everyone else who participated? Say you bet on Italy to win the world cup, are you sending cards to french fans? Of course not. Gambling is not the place for apologies. You have to move on when you lose, and so should they. (Plus, don't forget, you want them to go on tilt and give you more $$)

Yeah, I've said sorry more then a few times. I've never meant it though. I've taken a 100 times more bad beats then I've given so it is justice when I actually have to get lucky.
