my bad beat

This was a cash game. $4.40 cents no limit holdem. I was dealt 45 on the button and no one raised. Flop comes out HUGE for me, A23. I have one person betting, the other raises. I keep calling. Turn was a 10. No flush draw at all. One bets and I and another both call. Turn a Q. One guy goes allin, then the next guy too, i call. I realize i have been beaten. By a JK! why would anyone play JK after all that. These were not 10 chip bets, they were all pot sized and i did not make the final table, i won 0$, finished i think 2 away from the $. This was a terrrrible beat, i could not believe it

that certainly sucks hard but what were going to do fold the highest possible straight off the flop...there was no way out of it you had to call, i would have done the same thing...thats just one of the hands where nobody should have bet except you and your the one who gets beat...shake it off and take the table next time!

Can't say you played that hand bad at all. However, I tend to like heads up so a re-raise may have been in order. If not, the flop, on the turn for sure. Nonetheless, bad beat for sure. Was the JK guy the original raiser?
