Thread: Small pairs.

  1. #1

    Default Small pairs.

Small pairs are very dangerous but can pay a lot.

I use to call or raise on preflop small pairs when they are not to expensive because an hidden pair can easily become a very efficient three of a kind......and who will think you have raised with 33 ?......

    NOONE.

But of course, if it's to expensive, last stand of a tournament for example, I give up !!

I love small pocket pairs! 1 in 3 times about, with small pocket pairs on full tilt, i flop a set, and rake in huge

ive noticed that no matter what i have 9/10 times if you bet preflop, and bet/raise flop the entire table will fold.

this method is especially effective live, although it comes with risks.

like i said 9/10 times it works, and when you fold, you muck, so the next time you bet and bet/raise they think you are bluffing.

sounds dumb i know, but just try it in a game you dont care too much about one time heheh.

I just love that, in all those tournaments i play and when i got low cards and it does not cost to much to call i will allways call, specially when its 2 cards with same sign, then you also have a chance to hit a flush, but if you do it to often you can loose a tournament fast..

But then again, i hate when folding a hand and then in the flop it shows up that i could have 2 pairs or 3 of a kind, really bad feeling i get there..

    Default opion on low pockets

In my opinion its better to just raise with low pockets rather then all in but if the 3rd card doesnt come out you dead!

Okay, i see that a bit to risky for me to do it, i normally just call, and if the raise is not huge i will call to, but if someone goes allin i never call, only if i have QQ KK or AA.

Btw. yesterday i tried a hand where i sat with a K3 and on the flop came 2 kings and 1 3', then the river was a king again and the last card was a 3, thats the crazyest hand i ever made, got allso a screenshot if u wanna se.. :P

I think it's very dangerous to..
I don't make a very large bet with low pocket preflop..
Most of the time when i have a low pocket sombody has a even higher pocket
sow it's no good to push hard preflop..when the flop comes and there is your card than let the other guy decide what to do..and then push him to go allin..
That's how i play my Low pockets..
Or it can help you hard or destroy you even harder

    Yes, it's dangerous...

Yesterday i played a tournament and i had two pairs in the Turn (AA 55). And a K appeared in the flop. One of the players made a big bet and i raised, he made all in.

    The Turn: Q5AK

He had KJ (pair of Ks in the turn), but also a Q was in the flop... what do you think that appeared in the River?

    A Fu***** 10.

    I lose everything.
