The most important role is a luck here. I played a lot turbos 2m levels and it is certainly not a real poker game.

Luck is involved in all card games but not the only or most important part I think. The great thing about turbos is players tend to be overly aggressive so a good relatively patient player can take advantage of that fact.

As far as hand strengths when you are short that depends on alot of factors. No absolutes in poker. How short is short? How many people at the table? How many left to act after you? What type of read you have on their play? I realize this is not very helpful so I would say that in general if I have less than 8 big blinds left I would push with Q6 suited up aswell as any connector above 45. That is just me though and I would factor in my position and what I think the guys after me will do.

    Hope that helps.

There is a ton of skill required to play turbo and super turbo tournaments. You can still play tight and be successful even though the action is faster with the limit increases coming every 3-5 minutes. If you are patient and play decent to strong hands at the right time, you ahould do fine.
When at the tables, play for the love of the game and show respect for your opponents.

Turbos are too fast for my liking. The longer the game, the more skill influences it.

    Default Turbos

Personaly I dont mind playing low stake turbos, like $5 entry fees etc as the game is more like a bingo game, but however because people do play like tat when you get a good startig hand like PP etc you do have a very good chance of wiping them out and walking with the money, I did use to win a lot of money on 5 seater turbos and one time but then my luck changed so I gave them up and now very rarely play them unless I have a few $$s and just fancy a fast and furious poker fix.

I would say give it a go but if you do be very prepared to lose some money and try and stick to low stakes until you get used to the style of play out there

    I hope this helps somewhat.

i agree with most of the other posters here. just continue to play your normal tight game. you don't have to worry about anything no matter whether its a turbo or not until you reach 10BB or less. remember that chips you don't lose are chips you'ved won. protect your stack.

THis isn't necessarily true. If you were to compare levels of playing ability (skill) between say $6 turbo sngs and $5 regs.,.. there are a far greater number of good players who are playing in the turbos.
The thing to keep in mind when playing turbos is... you really don't have much of an oppurunity to try set-mining or calling behind with SC's..except for maybe the first couple of orbits.. but even then you'll usually find that someone else will raise it up if you've limped in or called behind a limper so in many cases on most tables it is best to fold a low pp in EP in early levels for example.
Next... if you raise up with Say AK, AQ, (or AJ, KQ, in LP) in early levels, are called and then fire a c-bet on the flop but then have to give it up on the turn, your stack is now depleted to the point where you're really going to be able to try to do this maybe one more time.. but more likely you'll be needing to wait & reraise allin with what has become more of a 're-steal-sized stack'.
Wait for decent prs. in LP and don't hesitate to reraise AI with them. You simply must double up and be fearless if your stack has become at all depleted after early levels.

There's too many variables in a typical game to outline the differences. Basically though... you want to play fewer hands and try not to spew off any of your fold equity (as mentioned above.. better to maintain your stack then to risk in an effort to build up it up marginally). Once blinds get higher, the game becomes a shove/fold game preflop - - - most of the game is about preflop skills, knowing stuff like ICM, FoldEquity, etc. There is skill involved.....it's just that it's generally a different skillset then your reg. speed SNG's.
