There are plenty of super micro buyin games on Pokerstars. I'm not familiar with many of them as I don't play in them... but do know there are alot of 10cent games... ie. 360player SNG's costing only 10cents for buyin (pretty sure the play is horrendous but the reward is obviously worth the risk).
If you're used to playing large-field MTT's, Pokerstars has some micro buyin MTTs with some bucks added to the prizepools. There is a 25cent buyin and a 50cent buyin that run daily (I think there's $50 or $100 added to the prizepool).
You can also play 10FPP tourneys (large field, small payout... a few hours to win a few cents but I'd be pretty sure the play would be better than the playmoney stuff).
On the Pokerstars SNG tables, I know of a bunch of players who are able to play profitably on the $3 turbo SNG's. The $6 turbo SNG's have fairly decent play. If you choose this route I'd highly suggest reading up on a bunch of SNG strategy stuff, and if turbos become your choice, read up on turbo-specific stuff because the shove/fold game is very important (it's not all about luck & donkeys fluking out as many will want to believe... I.C.M. is a very important thing to factor in with the shove/fold game in the single table turbo sngs... if you arm yourself with knowledge you will do ok).
Stars also has $4 180-plyr. SNG's that run all day long as soon as the lobby fills up. THese games have a fairly decent structure so there is a fair bit of room to play poker in them. Be prepared for high variance... going 20games in these with zero cashes is not uncommon at all.. but going deep on the occassional final table will make up for it.
Also, probably first & foremost,...no matter how good of a poker player you might be, bankroll management is key if you're hoping to be a winning player. It is not hard to abide by (especially if you're a bankroll nit like myself). Typically you don't want to buyin for more than 2% of your roll for an MTT or SNG (or 40buyin rule)... approx. the same for the cash tables (ie. FullRing, or 6-Max).... 20-40buyins is recommended.
If you choose to play the cash tables (^^), I'd recommend putting in the time at 2NL prior to moving up in limits and to try to play at least 10,000 hands at each limit prior to moving up.
If you're interested in some SNG Strategy info./links, etc., just send me a pm and I'll try to help to point you in some good directions to help make your play more profitable.
GL on the tables!!
PS, I'm pretty sure by the sound of your enthusiasm for the game, you will enjoy the real money tables alot more than the play money.
