Okay... your playing final table 5 handed... Your delt A A , on th button, and everyones called... You raise to 5x the bb and only the BB call.... Flop Is A J 10 and the BB bets out min.. you raise to 10x the bb and he allins.... you call... shows 9 9 to your trip aces ... turn is an 8.... rivers a 7..... Now how the hell are you supposed to compete with that??? Even if your the one with the 9 9 and that flops.... you gotta figure your opponent has A J or K J at the least right??? So why do so many people play like this???

what was the buy in? Did he/she have a giant stack? and not care about win or loose just took a chance to eliminate a player.and ofcoarse the term donkey was invented for a reason Ha! It's hard to get bad players to fold bad hands and more often they turn into good hands at the river.better luck next time.For the record I fold 9/9 after that giant raise on the flop =)

if it was a final table of an MTT then this would be par for the course. Final tables on MTTs people seemed to start playing all-in or nothing as they tend to already be in the money

the buy in for this one was 20+2 .... figured at this limit the play wiuld be slighty better than @ a freeroll or 5+.50 buy in.. guess i was DEAD wrong lol... hopefully next time they will hold.... although i shoulda known I was going to lose cause I had black aces.... never win with As Ac for pokets lol..

o yea about the money thing there was a big diff in pay between 5th and 4th.... 5th was 150 and 4th was 375........ sill made more than i bought in with but still.....

Any final table is a good final table right?LOL But it does take a while to get over hands like that.(for me anyway) you would think at that level you woud see less of the auto call crappy hands stuff.

Maybe he thought you were bluffing, although to push over your large raise is a bit silly with 99, after a pre flop raise.

Oh well, you meet muppets occasionally, and in fact you should be thrilled that he did play like that, since you were 95% to win. You got your money in well ahead, and were unlucky with a bad beat, but it's players like him that make the game so profitable for us
