IPoker network. Cash table 0.05/0.10 NL Holdem. 10 players is "waiting" but the table is empty. Can you explain it? Why aren't they playing on the table?

You see this quite a lot at most rooms
You can usually click a box which will put you on a waiting list for a seat once it becomes available
You can also click on a minimum seated players box and once that many seats are filled at the table you get taken to the table with the option of joining
So you might have 10 players waiting to join a table once there are 7 players there (if you are playing full ring) but until the table starts filling up the waiting list will stay the same
