My Betus Ferguson challenge
Logged back into Betus this weekend with no money. I'm a late nighter and they have a $25 insomniac freeroll Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at 3 a.m. Usually about 300 people but only 100 or so are actually playing.
First night - .18
Second night - .25
Took that .43 to some .02.04 fixed limit ring games.
I'm now at $1.23.
I'll keep posting in here until I run out of funds there.

Doing a similar thing at pokerstars. I was down to $0.00 a couple of days ago. Picked up $0.78 in the £2000 freeroll and used $0.25 to enter a 90 seat SNG and came 5th for $1.57. So up to $2.10 now.
I'm hoping to keep it mine growning as there are a few days of the £2000 freerolls yet.

its nice to have goals in poker, i think we all should have 1 or more. going from 0 to $10K is a pretty tough thing to do, jesus is a very good player so it was a achievable goal for him. if trying a challenge like this why not have 1K or 5K as a goal, anyone who completes this goal could always up the ante the following year.

This is definately a tough challenge to do. Take small steps in advancing though. Don't look as you gotta make 10k in a week, pace yourself by setting small goals along the way. During his challenge spent 2 days strategizing how to use the first $2 he made after cashing in his first freeroll. I've tried this challenge and got by bankroll to $647 in roughly a month, before not following good bankroll strategies, playing too high limits and too many ring game, blowing through most of it. Be patient and do better than I did.
When at the tables, play for the love of the game and show respect for your opponents.

Wowzers $0 to $10k i cnt even begin to fathom that, sheesh i would think setting goals in poker to be a good thing though, i mean why not goals work in real life so they should work virtually also.I think my goal i will set will be to $100 on any of the rooms i have downloaded on my puter right now.Thats a decent amount for a beginer seeing as i only put the min deposit to begin with
