Default My new approach to poker

I'm going to focus entirely on limit hold em on Stars and NL tournaments (4King tournaments) for the immediate future.

i started with $31 last night. I now have $86. About to clear another $10 bonus. Averaging about 400-500 hands a night. Will not move up to $2/$4 until I have at least $500. Until then, will play $1/$2 or lower if I suffer a losing streak.

I couldn't even start to play limit hold em. So many callers that it is hard to win a single hand. Good luck building your bankroll. I keep forgetting to register for the Thursday $1 Bodog tourney as I have 2 other important tourneys that play at the same time.

See you around at the tables, pirate.

including clearing a $10 bonus last night, won about $15. transferred $25 to a friend, so I have about $75.

played about 400 hands last night. very, very slow night. didn't make many hands. didn't play exceptionally well.

    bring on tonight.

most people at the table play with $10 or $20.

its a bad game. bad players. i realize its not a lot, but i think its OK. like i said, if i drop below a certain level, i'll drop down.

I agree with Mo. It seems like your new approach forgot about BRM.
Probably not an approach to consider for newbies, and that pros will escape too, but if it runs good for you, i won't add anything except:

    GOOD LUCK

    You will need some.

I agree with mo--and hoje. Some general guidelines for BRM are:

    20 buyins for NL Hold'em.
300 big blinds for Limit Hold'em.
    40 buyins for SnG Tournaments.

You are going to need a lot of luck to play at that level and not go broke.
