It's not the greatest call in the world but you only had 2.5k left and he had 1.5k invested so once he completed the small blind he kinda had to call you.

It's pretty sick the way it turned out but he took a shot at busting you and got lucky.

Why would anyone limp from SB into a BB who only has a few bb's? This is what I don't understand. I mean, if the guy was willing to call your allin, why doesn't he shove allin in the first place??
I see this sort of thing happening in alot of the private tourneys too... players not knowing how to size their preflop raises in late level blind play (ie. BB sitting with 6-10bb's... SB w 15-20+bb's.. SB 'minraise' calls BB's shove. What is that? I can see if they're trying to get fancy/trappy & have a monster & they figure their small raise will evoke a shove from BB (even though they'd have no fold equity.. unless SB was just real real real bad.. which in some cases they are).

UL Dan. SB's play seems really odd.

Why does the idiot call an allin with that crap pre-flop anyway ? U say he had 1500 invested ......only because he decides to call the extra 750..why not wait for a decent hand?

    I agree with you.

He should fold from the small blind.

But once he calls, he has to call the all in.

    Look at the odds!

    At once to fold.
