    Default Best Poker Resources?

    Hello all,

I'm kind of new to online poker, I've been mostly a live player until about 6 months ago. I am interested in becoming a stronger online player - it's definitely faster than the live tables I'm used to - and would like to eventually generate a little $ from my play. I know we live in a day and age of limitless resources so wanted to see what any experienced players have to say as far as where to focus my efforts. I've been reading a few poker books (Winning In Tough Hold'Em Games is my current book I'm reading), have cruised a lot of forums, and even searched "how to become a successful online poker player" on YouTube lol (YouTube is finally getting a few useful poker videos up). What and where do you (anyone making some $ at online poker) think I should be putting my time and effort? I appreciate any and all feedback.

I think you are off to a good start. Learn all you can. If I had a few tips they would be:

    1. proper bankroll management

    2. proper bankroll management

    3. proper bankroll management

    4. use poker tracker 3 for multitabling.

    5. learn everything you can about poker, read books.

    6. Proper bankroll management.

I am not an expert, nor am I rich from poker. I have studied poker quite a bit. I play live primarily. Online is quite a bit different than live. It is a difficult switch to make. I think the online players are much better players than live players, in general.

But, after a while, the online practice really helps your live game. Anyways, peace.

Default The importance of keeping poker record

In order to properly analyze your game, it is important to keep accurate records of your poker-playing. Every poker player likes to believe that they are winning players. However, that is not always the case. To better understand where your play has holes or weaknesses, you should be keeping track of numerous data during each session of play.
