Luck comes and gos - I don't know about the math involved, but you can see it. There have been people who won the WSOP Main Event and didn't win anything of any real value after that. You watch these guys play, making silly all in calls with nothing, and catching what they need on the turn or river. It happens. There are folks who do the math and still get beat by bum luck.
