Default action poker network & reviews generally

hi kittypoker

yep I agree - we try to make our reviews as objective as possible - having looked at and played a whole load of sites my general conclusion is that players look for and prioritize sites features differently

therefore providing the sites are proven to be reliable and trustworthy then we should review lots of different sites which have features which some may really like or really dislike

hopefully from the reviews players / members can work out which sites are for them and which ones have things they want over negative features which might bother one player but not another

I try to sum this up in the reviews in the ups and downs bit

In the case of the action poker network sites - the definate ups are that the bonus is very big (up to $2500) and that if your a player depositing this kind of amount the bonus at action poker sites is relatively easier to clear than some of the 100% up to $600 bonuses

for players who really want the big MTT's and lots of tournaments / SnG's etc they're maybe not the best choice -

but I agree as a bankroll builder these sites offer good potential

hope this makes sense - we try to be objective in the reviews finding the postive and some negative - but if the sites were complete duff ones with no upside then we wouldnt review them

hope thats a help

cheers scrawnybob

ps. I'm working on some sublimentary pages for the reviews so members / visitors can add their feedback of sites - hopefully postive or constructively negative to help give other players some more feedback

Default prefered sites

Hi scrawny, (and all)

Full-tilt is where I started out, became custom to tables and alert sounds. I have also joined Poker Stars, and Doyles room, but dont know their sites as well, so I get confused when looking for rooms and tourneys.
But ftp was where I started so I know what i have to do to learn others, just so easy to go where I have aquired friends and they want to see me at same tables.
Maybe the same will happen here if i start to expand my Poker experince. My avatar name is Royal Puppy, and I'm off the leash so I guess i can -run around- a bit. May your dealer make you play hard!

If you play enough, you can learn that players from certain countries tend to play the same - both tighter and looser. This can be a real advantage. This holds true in the smaller sites like 24h and TrueMoney, but not in large sites.

Currently a US player playing at Bodog. I mostly play the freeroll tournaments and I am looking for other poker sites that accepts US players with freeroll tournaments comparable to Bodog.

Thanks in advance
