Question Poker tools, analyzers, etc

Hello, all!

I have to say that I'm complete newbie in poker, so, please do not judge me...

I wanted to ask what do you think about different Poker Analyzers and other poker tools? Do they help indeed or its just a crap?

I found several programs of that kind in Google and stopped on Poker analyzer of poker52cards.com. They provide free demo, but the full version costs $50. I'm not sure whether it worth the money or not? What can you recommend me?

Thanks.

I tried one once just because I was wondering what it did. It basically tells you what to do but if you do that you will never win as it doesn't tell you to bluff or play aggressively which you need to do.

There is technolgy out there that will collect you hand histories and analyze your play, i.e. times you played, folded, hands you played with etc etc. It breaks down hands and enables you to play it back to you. This helped me when I first started out a couple of years ago, it allowed to look at common things I did and whether they were costing me money, and if specific plays I made were the wrong ones etc etc.

Wink this is what i have done

I am getting better but I know what it is like to be completely new. I would say to join several different poker forums to get a different perspective on the game. I know flopturnriver is also good or poker junkie. Maybe read up on others bad beats and stuff. I am not to sure about the software you found. I don't really have a tracker myself. I have used tutorial software to help improve my overall game. I used hellmuths to some success, so here is the link blackbeltphil.com
