Playing AA

OK, here is it. What is the proper way to play AA? I like to limp in and surprise everyone at the River, witha huge bet.

Everything almost everything, sys you should raise with it to limit the field, but I would think raising 3x is way to much. I believe a small raise of 2x is better, puts more money in the pot and brings in more weaker hands, especially when you hit trips.

I have no statistics to show which to prove my theory.

Actually i hate the AA. Every time i have them i lose. Last i went all-in, someone called me with 57 and he won.

Yes you got to be lucky to get AA and win with it to... usually i just go along before the flop and then BAM all-in before the turn... most of the time somebody goes down

I agree! You shouldn't let people know you got AA!

Well, I agree with MoreExlusive. You should raise more after each card on the table with AA and you could go all in on the turn, but then people may not call you. I prefer raising little by little with every new card on the table.

Raise 3x preflop at least. Calling is just asking to get drawed out.

depends on deposition and the players on the table, if i know there are aggresssive ones behind me i would probably just limp and hope that they raise so i can surprise with a big reraise. with less aggressive players i would definetly raise becausce i don't want to get outdrawn.

It is dangerous your type of playing AA or not only AA High pairs in general. It is possible to loose control of the hand and loose chips because of a wrong strategy. An all in playing it is more recomended because if you loose you loose because of unlucky not for a wrong strategy but the chance you loose is about 15%, very small in my opinion
