Well you are writing the fact but one thing all the players should kept in mind that if they want gain then they should be ready to suffer for some pain too as the old phase said “no pain no gain”. In the game of poker it perfectly fits. I tell you one important thing that when I started playing many of my friends said that I gone crazy but now when I won huge they all are jealous of me.

I play poker because i enjony the game. Of course u can win lots of money but.... it can get pretty tough. ive only been playing for 2 maybe 3 years. theres a ton of things to learn and trust me, u have to be able to lose because bad beats r just part of the game

I have nothing better to do. Why not play poker. I can make some dollars or make some cents...lol...money is money. I'm not going to be Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan or Phil Hellmuth but it feels good to be in there shoes sometimes.

poker is gambling for me when i am about to gamble ( casino, poker etc...) i know that im about to lose my money , i try to see it that but if i win well thats luck. i try to set my mind this way so that it will be easier to handle the loss and if you think this way you wouldnt gamble much of your money . and i always belive in the saying from nothing to many....lol

poker skills definately take time to acquire, since I have joined poker forums really have learned a lot more. You have to be willing to admit you have more to learn or u r just not going to get better thinking u know everything about the game, when u probably know very little..well like anything practice makes perfect...

I started playing after watching in on tv then it grew on me. Now i am addicted. Omaha is a fun game that grows on u. Practice is not more important than luck

The best way t0 get better is practice. It's fun to learn new games and take advantage of the freerolls to collect a few cents along the way. I don't spend a lot of my own coin just yet.

Ok, I'm a pretty smart guy, but I dropped out of collge.

Since then, surprisingly, I've been unable to get ANY job, so I'm pretty much playing local cash games and borrowing money for a living.

I'm constantly improving my game, and I'm hoping to move up to bigger games soon, so I can actually make a living from playing online.
