    i dunno i lost when i didn't fold any pocket smaller than jack.

    Depending on the situation.
    But I usually don't fold with 9 9. Maybe I raise to push them not to call with 2 8 and then flop like 2 2 8 or something like that, or a str8 draw. Or if they ' ve A K or some high kickers , if they don't get them, i push them or i go all in. i don't know.
    but 9 9 its a "good hand" pre flop.

    I will call with 9 9 but not with J's...im unlucky with hooks.

    your question is vauge... u say nothing about table position, action before you, your image at the table, your opponents way of playing hands..
    just saying whether or not to play pocket nines is too vague a question without details of a specific hand you have played.. everything depends on the action at the table...

    Gee it seems like alot of variables chipstack/M, position, Table image, I have folded 9's and went all in with all these variables taken into account

    I feel like pocket 9s are pretty overrated as more often than not you'll find yourself up against a coinflip in two overcards. Really depends a lot on the table and the action.
