Poker Books

Hi there,

i like to improve my poker play. So next to playing poker, I like to read some books about.
I play Texas Hold-em but also interested in the other games like omaha or studd.
So i wanna know, whoch poker books are good books in your opinion.

No matter how many poker books are written, the Super System books by Doyle Brunson are still two of the best books, especially for multiple games and not just Hold 'Em. Although the new book out by Team Full Tilt is also really good and doesnt just focus on Hold 'Em. So if you want an all round poker game and to improve on a few or even all of the variations of poker then I suggest those two.

the poker players bible is a great book for beginners and advanced players as well. I definity recommend this book.

MrSal48 here.......I have found that one of the better books to read (my opinion) is
"INTERNET TEXAS HOLD'EM"..... written by MATHEW HILGER.

Wow, this book really cuts the mustard. Of course all should read Doyl Brunson's book (bible) on poker.

No matter what books you read, you must be dedicated in following their advice almost to the letter. I am still learning this........

My vote is for the Haringhton on holdem 1, 2 and 3 books also - but I also think that you should take a look at the book from Navarro and Helmuth "Read'em and Reap" - it not only gives you things to look for as far as 'tells' on your opponent but also what to work on for yourself...
