Freerolls - Not worth playing?

5-6 hours to get $2 or $3... it very heavy to get so far. I dont like the payoutstructure. only 1/1000 gets something

I am with out a doubt a player who would be considered a beginner so for someone like myself I think this is true. Perhaps not right at the start of the game as there are allways players who really don't care and will just go all in on stupid hands. But if you hang on for a while people do take the game more seriously and that is where you find yourself in a good position to learn.

i also think that they are good for fun but yeah, for any serious player, for the amount of time you may be playing freerolls will not be profitable. However, there are smaller sites that offer large freerolls, i guess to grab the punters, that do not habe many players invloved.

freerolls are surely worth playing i have no creditcard and i rarely get real money but if i win freeroll i get real money that is very nice and i love freeroll

Freerolls are a great way to get started in the poker business, you don't have to pay anything and you earn money by sitting in front of the cpu

Freerolls are a great place to earn some real money.
Then, try your luck on the cash tables. Of course most
freerolls, you place to make the final table. To make anything. Many times I would make cent's. But, I like the challenge.

I play most freerolls on the side on other games - that way you can play 3-4 tournaments at the same time and not just go ind on the first few hands.

Playing poker is for fun - not for the money!

But we all hope to hit the jackpot some day

of course freerolls are WELL worth it. but do your research. there are freerolls and then there are FREEROLLS well worth it. work on your odds calculation. example freeroll A has 12,000 entrants and pays the top 99 winners with a ticket to play another freeroll for the cash. freeroll B has $100 prize and only 224 entrants. top ten win. which do u think u should enter??????
like the 4kingpoker freeroll. some 200+ showed up for the $100. at least 30% signed up but didn't play. this was a great chance to play against better quality play, and make the money. i was doing good till i made a horrendous decision, and busted out. Count me in on playing the quality, great odds freerolls
