After looking at sites offering advice on how to improve your game & how to bet on certain hands pre-flop there is something I don't understand. Say you are dealt pocket queens you are told you should raise or call one small raise. Since the standard raise is 3/4 the BB what is considered a small raise in this situation?
The size of the raise should also be relative to current pot size and the stack sizes of any limpers. QQ can be played a ton of ways preflop depending on your playing style and table style so it's hard to have these type of cut and dry rules when the hand is so situation dependant.
