I tend to think if there's a problem in the micro games, but it's not the bad beats, it's too EASY to get paid on a good hand.
How many times I'm worried my two pair won't hold up based on other bets, only to see they had NOTHING. It's like a donation to me. As I've tried to move up, when I fear I'm beat, I'm usually beat. I make the donation. It's all part of the learning process. Heck, I pulled down 11 cents profit last night. Give up the day job?

Even worse, Just yesterday I have seen players check all the way to showdown with quads!

Continue to stay on your game and don't eorry about everyone else. Microlimit play by nature has looser players who will occasionally suck out on you. With a tight aggressive style in the long run, you'll bust these players, who are there off a nice freeroll cash and deplete their bankrolls. Stay focused and let the cards fall where they may.

Good advice Willie and I agree with you. Just let the cards do the talking and stay away from the bluffing. Occassional is ok if you think you got a good read on someone then of course go for it, but be cautious there are a lot of donks out there and oh ya a lot of lucky mother #$#$#@$ haha, but thats poker.

Default micro sit n gos

I started out playing micro sit n gos at Doyles. I used money I won in free rolls there. The play is beginner level and since I am a begginer that is fine. Do people go all in crazy, on occassion. But when you have players like that you tighten up and catch the jackal. Patience is always best when you have a wild man at your table. I have no problem with facing down some guy who decided to go crazy with 89 off against my overpair. That is fine with me.

The problem I have with micro sit n gos is the rake. Even if you cash 75% of the time you are just barely beating it. Alot of hours playing, risking your bankroll, for very little return.

I have started playing the .10 tourneys at Doyles. There are usually a little less than 50 players in and Final Table pays. Also everyone is a bounty so you knock 2 players out and you have your buy in back! Only problem is the blind structure is quick, have to be aggressive!

Default low limits on full tilt

I don't think they are a good go either...just look at the amount of re-buys you see in the 10 cent full tilt games at 1735hrs every day...there are hundreds of them at least....its a donk fest for sure, and a profit generator, albeit a small one, for full tilt.

You don't see good poker here either until much much later into the game

Yes, but thats true anywhere. Maybe people who won freerolls or people who haven't been playing for a long time play in those and as a result you aren't gonna get a solid game.

I agree with you on the Full Tilt .10 rebuy tourney. The field is too large to make it worth while. Unlimited rebuys for the 1st hour just encouregages bad play. But rebuy tourneys at any buy in level are always going to have donks that can reach into their pocket for a do over. The Doyle ones are a much smaller field so it is easier to weed through the donks and since every1 is bounty you can make money without even making final table.

If the donk you just knocked out, earning you .5, wants to rebuy GREAT. Now you have another chance to earn .5 off of his bad play! I think it is helping me play more aggressively in a 6 man table and that is a skill I need to develope.
