They're talking about software such as Poker Tracker or Sharkscope, which gives you statistics about your opponents. You would probably have understood that, if you bothered to read the thread before posting in it.

Pokertracker - Havent used it yet, but everyone says its great

Handgrabber - Great for a site like Bodog where you cant save your hands and then you can go ahead and save them and post them on forums to get analyzed.

HoldemManager - Pokertracker like software where you can have data inputed and saved for players information, your own info, etc. Manager is a pretty good software.

Pokerstove - Helps you figure out what percentages you have to win, how good your hand may be, etc.

Pokerzion No Limit Advisor - Another software developed by a site. Works in ways that Pokerstove does with hand readings, percentages, etc. Great

Hey these all seem helpful, but I need more information. Do all of these cost money to have or are they free?

I won Prospector Poker academy in a tourney on ESPN. I installed it and it works on Full Tilt. It is supposed to work on any site that allows you to save hand histories but I can only seem to get to work on Full Tilt. It scans my hand histories every 5 min when I am sitting at a table and tells me how many times I have successfully stolen the blinds or how many hands I won pre-flop-, post flop, ect. It also can tell me how I fair against specific opponents.

Lots of precentages and charts and graphs and is a little to mush like work for me. I do like how it calls me the HERO though.

Their support is some of the best I have seen. Had to reinstall after almost 2 yrs of owning product and couldnt remember name or email address I bought it from. Most of them I have found cost money, anywhere from $75-$135 but well worth it depending on the stakes you are playing.

Does software like this, i.e. Poker Traker and the rest work for all poker clients? I only use Bodog to play poker online. It is the most familiar to me, and I have acquired a bankroll there for free. Are there any applications that work with the Bodog client?

I completly agree! what is it worth winning if you have someone or something helping? When you do for yourself no matter what the reward seems greater. It is not just about winning but also how well you play the game. No offence just personal oppinion. Good luck to all in every way that you play!

loosing in a tournament or at cash tables is not that bad, you are getting experience and that is worth moer than the tracer
learn by loosing and rethink what kind of errors you made it will give you more benefits for the future games you will play
