any can be playable but also big hands can and do become unplayable
hi
I would say that at least theoretically any hand can be playable - but equally and maybe more importantly big hands can become unplayable
by that I mean that you could / can justify calling an unraised family pot in late position with any hand - purely because even your 72 off has theoretically big implied odds ... and importantly duff hands should be very very ... very easy to fold
big hands however can have massive potential both negative as well as positive
cheers scrawnybob
ps. this isnt to say I am advocating playing anything and everything - far from it

to me it seems any starting hand is about the same until u see tha flop. My aces get cracked all the time by trash hands, usually by crappy hands that hit a flush
play all high hands mostly at the start of tourneys...dont try to bluff much if u catch a good flop with good hole cards...extract the most cash u can out of ur opponents
My advise it to find your favorite hand for example I never fold my favorite hand J 9( especeally suited) even someone goes all in. But many times it just depends on your position whic hands u can play. Its nonsense to say that dont play this hand because the flop can show u anything. Sometimes AA is the worst starting hand as u can get. I would say it is pretty similar to AK, there only to choices - double up or it can your last played hand.
