Default Hands to play

I've read a lot of the tips for beginners etc and kind of have used the advice to set "my rules" that I try to play by. (play pairs, high cards only)
Mostly play tournies (freerolls - best finish of 17th),

I seem to keep losing to guys that are playing things like Q 4, or 7 2.

The worst aspect of it is that it tends to throw my concentration and I lose the "plot" for a few hands.

I trie also cards in the same colour for flash , but only at least with one high card. A little bit luck and you will find the right cards. dont bet much but play for fun.

I used to play like you guys, when i first started about 6 months ago...playing Ace Faces or 10 and up pocket pairs...but now that i have 14 sites to play at least 5 tourneys, even with my busy schedule, I learned that you should play any hand that you feel comfortable with..a big rule of thumb, play hands you like ...for example like you said, Q 4 , or A 8, whatever , play those hands early in the tournament...try to get lucky, fold if you get a big raise, and most importantly , be patient!

Default Stick to What Works

I know it seems like it only happens when you do evrything like you are supposed to. But according to everything I have read says that in the long run you win, now this is for RING games, tourneys you should still play right, but not to tight. Hands like a Q4 can win, but do you really want to be ina lot of pots with that even if it is suited? Set up for a big loss, if you hit two pairs.

i dont know about other poker sites, but with ultimate bet there are SO MANY people who have thousands of dollars in their account so they will play ANYTHING and when they do they seem to catch their winning cards on the river...i have lost so much money to people like this and i hate it everytime.

Default position

For me the most important think in texas holdem is the position from where you play certains hands.
In early position play only solid hands, in late position even marginal drawing hands, but if raised fold.

Well the best cards until now for me were A J , J J , Q 10 and 7 7 .....and the worsth were 7 2 , K Q , J 6 ......i guess the best way to deal is to go with the blind and see the pre flop if no one makes any raise i usualy go to most of hands to see what the 3 first cards are and after that i make a decision.....but anyway has his way this is my way
