i believe that carbonpoker has a great environment for beginners. i mean you could also play just starting with play money to learn. but if you want a good site with alot of games its definately carbon hope you find the right site for yourself.

don't play at PLAYERSONLY.COM poker site. They are crooks and will not release fairly won funds...

i started at UltimateBet.com they have freerolls every hour so its a gr8 place to hone your skills. Reefer Poker is gr8 site too. have fun and good luck

Pokerstars is the best site because at the low level the player are not too aggressive for my draw.

Noiq is a cool starting site . I like also titan poker and it's good for begginer with their signup instant bonus (on deposit)

I learned on Party, and it took months to unlearn everything. I will say that the tourney players there bet their hands more accurately than ANY other site by far, though. Too accurately- you can guess pretty close to what most players are holding. At first, I thought they were terrible because I usually play bluffers, and the Party players are slooooow. Then I realized, they were calculating- and well! Also, the non- tourney tables are ridiculous. Most hands are either all-in preflop, or way overbet.

Right now, Ultimate bet is my fave. Freerolls hourly, and a "bet or fold" philosophy. I was very impressed my first night there. A friend of mine who is excellent says it reminds him of professional play, although you can't avoid the goofballs in any non- rake requirement freeroll. "Cake" has a bunch of decent players, and a nice atmosphere. It's pretty easy to make final tables there. Bugsy's Club has great players, but they are so tight that it takes 5 hours to beat 600 players sometimes!

Carbon is nice too, but the freerolls have weak pools. Try typing: "laugh", or "shocked". They are relatively new emoticons, with a panda acting them out. For aggressive, deceitful, FAST players and the best emoticon software- I have to say that is the site. Also, the accolades are killer. I can't wait to get ribbons, stars, and ESPECIALLY the bounty elite and related icons on my avatar. Sounds childish, but they are not easy to earn.
