Default my 2c

In live play if you move from the table, your hand is AUTO mucked by the dealer, If you are not back playing by the time your next blinds are put in by you, ie your blinds, you pay, from the BB every blind till you come back ( depending where you are ie what club you are in)

If I owned a online poker site The same thing would happen!

There is no rule or etiwuette that says a player can't sitout. They do it all the time in the big tournies. Some of the pros don't even show up for the first hour of the wsop. and some leave for a litttle while during. All in all. Real life events take presidents and people have to run. Some make it back some dont. I prefer to stay and play but every once in a while i have to run

I always play, because it`s easier to take out small stacks, than when they get even big as yours

Default done it a few times

when i have a major chip leaad after 15 min i tend to sit out for an 45 min the come back. I whould normally still be far above the avrage and is about te time blindposters are taken out. Get another 25% increase in chips and have 2-1 on average. This strategy works for me cause im a farly agessive player and tend yo lose the chips fast.

I do not have a problem with people sitting out. Alot of times I have kicked myself in the behind for not doing it myself.

Many times I have had a huge stack only to flop 2 pair while in the big blind and end up losing half or more of my stack and end up not making the money.

All I had to do was sit out and make the money and I would of had a big stack to compete for the win.

Yeah it is a problem, but you just have to deal with that type if player. I done it a few times but got bored of doing that, as in my opinion, people who love poker play poker, and don't do the sitting out thing. So ignore it and play your own game. GL

I wasn't the chip leader but today there was 13 of us left and I was 5th.I had to top up my mobile as I needed to send a text message. No credit so while I was sorting that out I walked away from my lappy and when I came and sat back down I only then remembered I was playing a game.
7 left I was 7th.Finished 6th.
