Default Suited connectors?

Got into a discussion last night RE suited cards in a live game.

I had pockets 10's and the other guy had AQ suited, was my hand favourite pre flop? I thought it was as I'd already hit my pair preflop and he needed to hit in order to win, it's pretty much a coin toss scenario though isn't it?

TT =54% EV
Ranked 25th Strongest hand:
Probability of facing a higher pocket 10 seat table 1.96%

Aqs =46% EV
Ranked 85th Strongest hand.
Probability of facing a stronger hand 10 seat table 6.87%

I take the Ten Ten every time.

you say " TT =54% EV
Ranked 25th Strongest hand:
Probability of facing a higher pocket 10 seat table 1.96%"

what is the probability of facing a stronger hand 10 seat table ?? for the 10 10

Default Heart Breaker Hands

Both are good hands that can win nice pots for you. Both are heart breakers when they lose.
I faced this very hand last night.
My pocket 10's against AQ diamond.
Flop came 10 x x (2 diamonds)
I went all in, but got the call from the bigger stack. My tens didn't grow, but he hit that damn flush on the river. I had chores to do, so it was probably for the best.

I think I'd rather have AQs. Pocket 10's are not very lucky for me. I ususally get beat.

not sure this may be a daft question, is 10 10 Ranked 25th strongist hand because AA,AA,AA,AA are the 1st 4 ranked hands? I am having an argument about how you rank hands GT. I think 10 10 is the 5th strongest hand.

10s are definately a hand you want to play depending on the spot. Wouldn't want to see too many all in spots 10s vs AQ suited though.

And also without K, Q and J because TT is the 5th strong hand after AA, AA, AA, AA

By the way, I take TT too!
