Thread: Cash Game Strategy Guide?

    Default Cash Game Strategy Guide?

    Hello everyone,

My name is Aaron and I am new to poker. I have seen some pretty interesting cash game strategy guides out there but the one that appeals to me the most is Cashgamegenius Does anyone have any feedback on this cash game strategy guide? Does it work?

Any feedback would be appreciated before I shell $67 dollars on it!

    Thanks in advance,

    Aaron

To be honest, play to your strenghts and don't approach cash games as you would tournaments. Play more solid hands and loosen up based on your reads and opponent's image. I'd read online strategies, but would not be willing at this time to invest in a guide that may or may not work for you.
When at the tables, play for the love of the game and show respect for your opponents.

Default pretty sure thats just spam

    hi all

I'm pretty sure as its a single post - and nothing since its just spam awaiting them putting in a link (and then getting banned) - it goes to one of those single page classic get rich quick sites - so IMHO your not going to learn anything you couldnt learn for free reading the forums / free strategy articles here and anywhere else

    cheers scrawnybob

Hey pokerGod my name is also Aaron and my advice is to not waste any money on that and to instead put it on the table. Those kind of sites are just rip offs just waiting for an idiot who doesn't know anything about poker to buy there stuff hoping it will improve their game... it doesn't and it is not worth your time trust me.

Man, hit the library, read articles on-line, and just play lots of freerolls. I agree with a previous poster. If you're willing to spend $67 you may as well put it into a site and play tables. You'll learn a lot more from playing low limit games and freerolls than from a guide. The only book I've read is Doyle Brunson's, I liked it and I intend to read others, but what you get is basic strategy and general guidelines. Nothing can replace playing lots of hands. I'm also new to internet poker and I've not made any cash deposits yet, but I have a small amount of cash on all four sites that I play. Pokerstars and Full tilt have quite a few freerolls and Bodog has play money SNG's that are good for trying different strategies. Good Luck and hope you win lots of someone else's money

    Default Strategies

I know that this thread was started by a spammer but is there a cas game strategies thread? I play tourneys frequently but am still baffled by the cash game. I know you are supposed to play less trappy. Bet your hand, do not slow play. I would love to know more.
