Defending the blinds

If you feel it's a straight steal attempt, any ace or king maybe good to reraise with. It depends on how long you have been playing with the player. If he's not so solid, then refire with any two if you feel comfortable doing so and you are not compromising your own chips.

Sometimes the "someone" also got nothing, it's a risky position.. sometimes, if you get at least a J push all in.. try to defend your blinds.

I don't really believe in "defending" your blinds. If someone raises, then a lot of the time theres a reason they are doing this. So why call if you don't have that great of a hand? You're only throwing your chips and money away, which does no good at all.

Food for thought -
In an unraised pot, play the blinds as if you are in late position.
In a raised pot, play the blinds as you are in early position.
