    Default A complaint over customer service

    I spent a good part of Monday night sending e-mails back and forth between myself and Bodog CS. About 10 in all. Still no resolution as far as I'm concerned.

    Here is the jist of the problem. Maybe someone here knows the answer:

    Bodog gives 100 percent reload bonuses on your first deposit of every month. You have to earn a certain number of points and you hvae to wait 30 days to collect the bonus money.

    I deposited $25 on June 25. On July 25, I received my $25. No problem

    I depoisted $50 on July 9. On Aug. 9, I got nothing. I still have nothing.

    Every e-mail I sent gets almost the same response: It talks about the June bonus and getting the money on July 25. But never a mention of the July 9 bonus. Very frustrating. And I'm pissed off now.

    Any suggestions?

    mabye because you deposited again b4 u recieved you bonus from the previous month..kinda like only being eligible for 1 bonus at a time

    that makes sense, but that's not the way i remember the bonus being offered. i thought it said first deposit of each month. i could be wrong, though. your explanation makes sense.

    yes, but that 30 days used to run by the calendar - june 1-30, july 1-31, etc. now it doesn't matter ... its just 30 days.

    i hate those "small letters"as we call that in dutch.....
    i have another thing with pkr:
    i withdrawed 650 dollars through my ideal account, but because i used my credit card to deposit money before i used a bank transfer (ideal has only been introduced a little while ago)
    they will have to match my deposit with my credit card before they will start paying out through my normal bankaccount.....

    the problem here is that i cannot receive funds on my creditcard account, so it will be sent in through a cheque.
    Now:
    1) i will have the exchange rate deficit*
    2) it takes 2/3 ,months before i receive a cheque
    3) my bank charges unreal ammounts of costs to cash an english cheque.

    all n all i will lose about 70/80 euro's on this transaction. i mailed em several times to tell them but they won't bow donw lol (obviously)

    (*dont know whats the right word to describe this but you'll understand i hope)

    ok... I've never posted on any forums because I havn't felt this strong about somthing. When you accused of bodog customer service not being the best out their i have to tell you that, you have never played online poker and im guessing someone whos so worried about the bonus
    wouldn't. Ive played on full tilt pokerstars doylesroom, carbonpoker, parttypoker, pokerstars, absolute, list goes on. All of which dont even compare the worst is Ultimate bet and full tilt try talking to them about any issues ur having with ur account. They wont be resolved . Bodog might not have the numbers yet...but man do they take care their customers. BODOG4lLIFE!

    i have played on almost every site there is. i generally have liked bodog's CS. this time, however, they were terrible. if i can't point that out without offending you, please stay out of my threads. you signed up for an account just to post that. thanks.

    I think adatengenesis was being constructive - and as first posts go IMHO its useful ...

    lets hope you havent' put off a potentially good new member pirates !

    AFIAKS adatengenesis has made useful additional help on other sites customer service at different sites - so other members reading the thread now know that he's found UltimateBet CS sucks etc etc ... I think thats a useful addition to "your" thread pirates ;-)

    bodog reload bonus issue

    afaiks the situation is that somewhere along the line bodog have changed their reload bonus for per calendar month (roughly 30 days) to per 30 days

    from a business and admin POV I'd think this makes alot more sense for them and for the funtioning of the business

    on a monthly basis you could have alot of people depositing on the 29th of Jan and the 2nd of Feb making for a big lump of cash demand at the end / start of each month

    bear in mind alot of people used to withdraw and redeposit on sites to get reload bonuses almost like a monthly ritual game ... on some sites like I remember eg. interpoker the whole monthly re-deposit bonus became like a game of withdrawing the month before the month befores profit to then redeposit it in the following month to maxmise you re-deposit bonuses while still keeping a legitimate balance and be deposting / withdrawing within the rules etc

    IMHO I would look into withdrawing the 2nd deposit (which didnt get the re-load bonus) and then re-desposting it at the new right time given their rules seem to have changed
