Why no transfers at bodog?

WOW, PLAYFUL DIDNT KNOW THERE IS NO TRANSFERS AT BODOG..THEY EVEN HAD AN OFC GAMES THERE THIS WEEKEND.. SO THE ONLY WAY 2 GET MONEY @ BODOG WAS 2 WIN AT THE FREEROLL OR DEPOSIT FOR THE BUY-IN.. PLAYFUL THINKS THIS IS THE ONLY SITE THAT DOESNT ALLOW PLAYER TO PLAYER CASH TRANSFERS..UNREAL FOR A SITE OF THIS SIZE AND WE AT 4KINGS PLAY OUR LEAGUE GAMES AT BODOG AND THAT THIS OPTION ISNT OPENED FOR US... WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?

I dunno playful, I have done player transfers at Pokerstars and I have done player transfers at FullTilt. Other than those 2 sites, I do not know others that allow you to fund your buddy up.

Kind of also reminds me of a problem I have been having at some new poker sites I play at. I want to see what tourneys I am registered for at the poker site. At pokerstars and fullt tilt they have a registered in tournaments button you can tap, on Bodog they have like a notepad that signifies you are in a tourney. But when I play at 3 other sites I am on my own to guess where I pre-registered for a tourney.

i too was suprised that bodog doesnt allow transfers, and ebretta i use microsofts works calender to keep my poker schedule straight.

Most sites/networks have transfers.

Fulltilt, Stars, Cereus (Absolute/UB), Cake network (Cake, Doyles, etc), Merge Network (Carbon, Aced, etc).

I also don´t understand why Bodog don´t have transfers, been a sportsbet/gamble Site you kind of expect it.

IMO, the reason must be that Bodog wish you will deposit, nor a canuck law that could be behind this behaviour.

Yes, but they don´t win if you deposit, they win until you play the $ and they got rake.

If they alow transfer even if player don´t deposit they win the generated rake when other players that get the transfer play.

With out transfers im sure they are losing $, they are a big numbers in players that can´t deposit and still want to play.

According to BoDog, they may never have player to player transfers. The stated concern is "money laundering".

I'm surprised so many sites do allow p2p transfers, but of course you have to jump through hoops on merge to get it.

i searched for their transfer option just the other day. went over the entire place couldn't locate it. so you now confirmed it for me. dang it! this is one of the few places that i can deposit on and my money is just sitting there. dang it! i think that just sux.

I have found that not only Bodog but Players Only and Big Bet Poker don't allow them either
