Default picking your own seat position

I really just wanted to get another thread started here before MO sees that badbeat novel in the wrong section. (just trying to do my part to keep the peace SB). Anyway, is bodog the only site were you pick your seat for the single table sitngo's. Not that it really matters, but it seems as crazy as the online sites are about collusion, that would make it easier for say 3 players to pick seats to give them the best advantage at cheating. I don't know, maybe its not really a problem, just thought I'd bring it up.

ON the positive side, it seems that bodog's turbo tourney's don't go as fast as other sites. You seem to hve more opportunity to play before the blinds get out of hand. I think the levels don't rise as quickly (not time wise but value wise). I don't usually like turbos, but I do on bodog, you seem to be able to find a sitngo pretty quickly at the 3 and 6 dollar level (about all I can afford right now)

WOW i never thought u could do that anywhere its ridiculous it should be random INCLUDING CASH GAMES not just for collusion purposes but even without collusion it can be used for a individual's advantage.

like when u play in a pub game or somat and the organiser dont draw for seats...shock horror 2 chavs are swapping cards under the table.

    Default seat choice is important

    hi

seat choice in ring cash games is a very important factor of players success and something ALL players should think about

getting exactly the advantage you were talking about is not colluding or cheating as long as your not colluding or cheating

may a time will you find a juicy game but find the only seats avaible are to the right of the aggressive dominating player(s) ... this should make it less appealing to get in that juicy game

its really no different to looking at % to the flop and other facotrs for finding juicy games

if you can see a less juicy game but can sit after the agressive players and there are fish everywhere else on the table - that can book you a nice profit just playing ABC

    cheers SB

I have never played on Bodog but it sounds pretty dumb if they allow one to choose his seat in a sng. You can increase your ROI drastically if you are able to "seat select".

That totally makes sense that you would want the aggessive players behind you as they will often 3 - bet your raises and you will always be put to the test and often lay down chips.I never understood this about Bodog.I just selected my seat when i started and never changed it which is fine for tournies and i don,t play Ring games so its not a factor.I don,t know of any other site that allows it.
