Bodog bonus money
Has anyone received an email this week from bodog regarding a free $10 bonus for the casino? My girlfriend received this, yet I did not. I'm trying to find out why some receive free bonus money from bodog, yet others do not.
I asked bodog the same question, and they are trying to avoid answering. I know that they want players to use this money, and lose it when trying to meet the cashout requirements (25x the bonus), hoping that they will then in turn deposit money of their own. I'm trying to figure out which customers they are preying on. I have deposited money on bodog, yet I have not received any bonus offers...ever. My girlfriend has never dropped a dime to them. So basically they don't give free $$$ back to those that have dropped money to them.
They stated that they are on an automated bonus system, in which they cannot manually give bonus money. They do compensate for some losses. But you have to wager atleast $5000 in total over time.

I have played once in bodog and filed it under :- FILEBIN1
No idea if its change, They have to pay me to play on it, I seem to think a respected Irish firm own it, but not sure it didnt suit me personally.

casino bonuses
hi
from reading the original post - your talking about casino bonuses - so they tend to look at accounts differently to poker rooms
also poker rooms definately more so than casinos are careful how they handle bonuses - but they all have a different outlook on the best stategy for them to gain more real money player and how to keep them active
I hardly think you can suggest a site is preying on someone when they give them either free money or bonus money based on depositing - if you get more money than you put in then they're giving you they're money - so they are the ones gambling that this may encourage to you play more or play at their site
some sites give out free free money - which is IMHO pretty risky as there is no guarantee they would ever make it back
but some sites will encourage (not prey on) non depositing players to either deposit or play with their cash
others will look at active players in real money and occasionally reward them with new bonuses / re-deposit bonuses / some free money
depending on which site they have different strategy - maybe that week they picked out x amount of non depositing players who have been signed up more than x time without depositing to give some free money too - this would explain why you didnt both get money
hope that is a help

who owns bodog
hi
as far as I know bodog does not own pokerchamps ...
bodog is an independent site including poker / casino & sportsbook and is owned by billionaire playboy Calvin Ayre - Bodog isnt a network or have any other brands running the Bodog software.
here is a video on 4kingpokerblog about Calvin Ayre
pokerchamps was bought by betfair in 2005 and also aquired pokerchamps software provider Aglet
subsequently BetFair left the cryptologic network and now has a stand alone software platform.
hope thats a help
