Default Bodog free roll ghosts

I notice more and more that players on the Bodog $500 free rolls are not really there. I mean they start on autofold and just blind out. Last week 6 of the 9 players at one table did not participate. Bodog is my one and only room in my online poker career, so I ask does that happen everywhere.

Yes, with Bodog you can sign up two hours in advance for freerolls, so there is more chance that you might have been distracted by other things before it begins.

From my experiences.Bodog is definitly the only site that this happens.I understand your frustration.Nothing worse then 7 sitouts at a table of nine players.

Now that i think a little more there are a few sites that this crap happens on.But theres nothing you can do.Only solution would be to just stop playing that $500.00 Freeroll.

It happens in freerolls at every site I've ever played on. Don't know why people do this, but they do and I know it's frustrating. Only thing you can do is play against the other people at the table and be very patient. Eventually they will blind out. Some poker rooms take players out after the first blind change if they don't come to the table. I wish they all did.

I have p;ayed in so many freerolls where the majority of the people on my beginning table have been sit outs and it really makes it hard to build your bankroll however I really dont know anything to do about it .

Smile Take Advantage of those Ghosts

I just posted a reply to another thread about "Sitters" or "Ghosts"... there was some good advice there too...here what I posted...

Quote:
I know it can be boring, but take advantage of the situation and rake in those blinds if possible. If there is another player at the table that doesn't know how to play a "Sitter Table" you can take their chips too.. Or.. other times I am friendly feeling and ask the other non-sitter(s) if they want to alternate taking the table blinds until the sitters are gone.. Once most of the sitters are out and some real players are there agree to start playing normally..

Of course, this only works with someone who is willing and isn't trying to "trick" you.. I've been lucky so far and have had several people work with me..

What really bugs me is when You are the only live player at a table for 30 minutes or better and some "Sitter" finally decides to show up and starts playing like a maniac. After patiently and boringly collecting blinds for 30 minutes, I have built up a grudge against sitters and tried to aggressively impose my will..only to be knocked out soon after.... Can you say "TILT?".....
Here's the link to the whole thread.... Those %#^* sitter outers

Hope it helps you take advantage of "Ghosts"...by the way..I find these sitters at every freeroll I've ever been in so I had to develop some sort of strategy eventually or go crazy and quit playing freerolls all together.. I'm glad I didn't, I've been slowly building up a nice bankroll from learning how to play them and last a long time... ...Good Luck !!!

Default sit outs

i think every software must follow AP rules, they dump out all the sitters in the first 10 minutes.

THink a few already do it William Hill and Ultimate. It spoils it when they are sat out although if you get a table full of sitouts you can get off to a good start.

Although I'd prefer if they were binned after 10-15mins
