Canadians Can't play at Bodog
I've run into this problem with a few forums I belong to. They set up games at Bodog which I am unable to play. I believe it is because their server is located here in Canada.
I'm hoping that Bodog will eventually be able to accept Canadian players. With all the concerns about legal changes in the U.S. to make online poker illegal, I'm hoping that it won't be repeated here.
For now, online poker is legal and tax free here in Canada.

While it’s legal to play poker, it’s not legal for a resident to operate an online poker room in Canada.
Calvin Ayre the founder of Bodog is Canadian, he runs the company in Costa Rica but still personally resides in Canada. He has made the statement numerous times that he does not want to tempt fate and this is why he's chosen to not allow Canadian accounts.
This dudes very high profile and turned his $10,000 investment to start BoDog, into over 1 Billion Dollars. Having some insight on this matter unfortunately I don't expect Bodog to accept Canadian accounts anytime soon.
